Anne Wall joined The Duberstein Group as Vice President after a decade of service in senior leadership roles in the U.S. Senate and the Obama Administration. She served as Floor Director for the Assistant Democratic Leader and Whip Dick Durbin, as Deputy Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs at the White House and as Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs for the Department of the Treasury.

As Floor Director for Senator Durbin, Anne managed key vote efforts and coordinated floor strategy for the Senate Democratic Caucus and regularly advised Senate and House senior staff, White House and agency staff, and outside groups on floor activity, legislative procedure and the Senate Democratic agenda.

Anne left the Whip office to join the White House Office of Legislative Affairs where she managed the White House’s engagement with both Senate Democrats and Senate Republicans, as well as key Senate committees. Anne also led the Hill effort to confirm President Obama’s executive and judicial nominees.

Following her service in the White House, Anne was nominated by President Obama to be the Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs at the Department of the Treasury and served as Counselor to Treasury Secretary Jack Lew. After she was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate, she developed and executed the Department’s legislative strategy and led Treasury’s engagement with the House of Representatives and the Senate regarding the Department’s policy priorities.

Before beginning her career in Washington D.C., Anne practiced law in her hometown of Chicago.
