Elizabeth Kelley is a Partner at The Duberstein Group.

Previously, Elizabeth served in senior roles in the Obama administration focused on economic policy, including as Special Assistant to the President and Chief of Staff to the National Economic Council, where she advised on domestic and international economic strategy and coordinated policy development across key economic agencies.

Prior to the White House, Elizabeth was Assistant United States Trade Representative for Private-Sector Engagement, leading trade coalition efforts, Fortune 100 C-suite outreach, and stakeholder briefings to support the President's trade agenda. She was later appointed to the USTR transition team for President Biden.

Earlier in her career on Capitol Hill, Elizabeth served in senior advisory and chief of staff roles, directing policy, political strategy, and external engagement for Senate offices with jurisdiction over tax, trade, and broader economic policy. She was Deputy Chief of Staff and Political Director for former Senator Max Baucus, Chairman of the Finance Committee, and Chief of Staff to former Senator John Walsh. An Oregonian at heart, Elizabeth also has deep roots in the Pacific Northwest congressional delegation. 

She owns a long track record building public–private partnerships that align business, policy, and philanthropic objectives. Before joining DGI, she served as Vice President of Philanthropic Partnerships at the Urban Institute.
